Channel Islands Silver Porringer - Antique Circa 1810

This antique 19th century Channel Island silver porringer has a circular rounded form.

The surface of this hand raised antique porringer is plain and unembellished.

This antique silver porringer is fitted with two S scroll handles ornamented with bands of bead decoration to the handpieces.

The underside of this antique porringer is embellished with the engraved initials 'TMS' and retains the silversmith's centre punch mark.

Such examples from Guernsey are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
