This exceptional antique Danish sterling silver coffee jug has a circular rounded form.
The surface of this fine example of antique silverware has a planished finish.
The coffee pot is fitted with a push fit domed cover surmounted with the original sterling silver topped globular carved wood finial, encircled to the lower portion with an applied band of bead decoration, all in the Arts and Crafts style.
This antique silver coffee jug retains the original carved side-handle featuring further bead decoration to the waisted silver sockets.
This antique coffee pot/jug has a plain swept spout; the spout junction is perpendicular to the handle.
The underside of this coffee pot bears the contemporary engraved inscription '30TH June 1943, G.M.S.'.
