This stunning, fine and impressive antique Edwardian pendant/brooch has been crafted in 9ct rose gold with platinum settings.
The pierced decorated quatrefoil-shaped platinum setting is embellished to the centre with a pavé set 0.17ct Old European round cut diamond.
The central circular design is further embellished with twelve pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Dutch and eight cuts.
The finely crafted petal style quatrefoil-shaped setting further bears four tri-leaf designs, incorporating three pavé set diamonds, in addition four diamonds to the incurved terminals.
The brooch/pendant is further embellished with splayed rose gold strands, bordered with paralleling graduating seed pearls.
The splayed design is further ornamented with four seed pearls flanking the central circular motif, in addition to supporting a platinum collet set diamond accented with millegrain decoration, completing the design.
This antique brooch secures to the reverse with a detachable hinged pin and clasp fastening; the removable pin indicates the high quality of the piece.
This brooch may also be worn as a pearl pendant, suspended from a contemporary 18ct yellow gold 45.72cm/18" trace chain via the hinged bale to the reverse.
This antique Edwardian pearl and diamond pendant brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct gold and platinum.
This impressive pendant brooch is supplied with a IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card for the supporting stones.
