The terminal of the antique pin brooch is ornamented with a feature twelve claw set 3.13ct cabochon cut white opal.

The feature setting is secured to a steel pin, as often the case with such original antique examples.

This antique brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 12 carat gold and steel.

This impressive opal brooch is fitted to a period hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.

The interior of the box bears the retailer's mark 'William Angus, Jeweller and Silversmiths, 27 & 29 Lord Street, Liverpool'.
