This exceptional antique German 900 silver box has a plain rectangular form with rounded corners.
The sides and underside of this enamel box are embellished with engine turned decoration.
The cover is embellished with an impressive hot enamel panel depicting a bi-plane* in flight over an air field, with sparse structures to the horizon; this is a rare and highly desirable scene.
The cover opens to reveal the original gilded interior.
