This fine and impressive antique dog brooch has been crafted in 18ct, 15ct and 9ct white gold.
The plain 18ct white gold bar is ornamented to the centre with a realistically modelled 15ct white gold West Highland Terrier.
The Terrier has a textured finish representing the undulating hairs of the dog's coat, embellished with a total of twenty-four collet set eight-cut diamonds.
The eye of the dog is represented by a single collet set 0.02ct round cut ruby.
This exceptional example of early 1900's craftsmanship secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp.
The reverse of the bar is struck with the hallmarks for 18ct gold and 15ct gold (18CT 15CT).
The pin has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct gold.
This impressive antique dog brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
