The body of each silver gilt egg cup is embellished with exceptional engraved strapwork panelled decoration.
The ornamentation to the conjoined Russian egg cups incorporates a shaped cartouche to either side; one side is embellished with engraved Russian initials and the other remains vacant.
The original screw fit pedestal foot of each antique silver piece features a plain circular knop to the upper portion.
The two individual egg cups push fit together to conjoin and form an ovoid egg shape.
Each silver egg cup retains the original gilding.
