Sterling Silver Cruet Set - Antique Victorian (1864)

This impressive antique sterling silver cruet set consists of a pepper shaker, salt cellar and a mustard pot.

Each piece of this collectable antique Victorian cruet set has been modelled in a barrel shaped form and is encompassed with bands of tooled decoration.

Both shakers retain the original hallmarked push fit covers embellished with pierced decoration in a quatrefoil array.

The mustard pot is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover and features the original hallmarked mustard spoon.

Each piece of this fine antique cruet set in silver retains the original gilded interior.

The pieces of this impressive set are fitted to the original hallmarked trefoil cruet stand supported by three ball feet.

The frame incorporates three twisted wirework recievers and is fitted with an opposing scroll handle featuring an applied ribbed design to the handpiece.

This antique cruet set is a very a good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of each piece, in addition to part hallmarks to the interior of the covers are all very clear.
