This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver frame has a plain rectangular rounded form with impressive wirework embellishments.
The surface of this antique photograph frame is plain and unembellished.
The photograph frame is surmounted with an impressive scrolling wirework design to the upper portion, incorporating a vacant shield shaped cartouche to the centre.
The lower portion of this impressive example of Edwardian silverware is supported by two scrolling feet reflecting the same wirework style to that of the upper portion.
This impressive sterling silver photo frame is fitted with a velvet covered back and hinged strut, secured with a swivel catch; the body and strut of the frame have been recovered in navy velvet replicating the appearance of the original covering.
This antique frame is inset with a removable glass panel.
