Sterling Silver Presentation Bowl - Arts and Crafts Style - Antique Edwardian (1909)

This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver presentation bowl/bowl has a plain oval rounded form onto an oval spreading pedestal foot.

The surface of this Arts and Crafts silver bowl has a planished silver finish with a plain moulded rim to the upper portion.

This bowl is fitted with two fine and impressive narrow loop style handles with an opposing scrolling lower terminal in junction with the pedestal, in addition to impressive Arts and Crafts style bifurcating scrolling upper terminals.

This bowl sits to the original oval painted wood plinth; if required this plinth could be fitted with a bespoke sterling silver presentation plaque suitable for a personal engraved inscription.

This antique bowl is a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the bowl are very clear in keeping with age and location; the maker's mark has some wear but remains legible.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Edwardian silverware.
