The anterior and posterior surfaces of this 19th century silver ladle are embellished with the classic King's shape ornamentation, incorporating scrolling leaf designs.
The terminal of the anterior surface incorporates the contemporary engraved crest of a demi-lion holding a fleur-de-lis.
This fine example of silver cutlery has a plain rounded bowl with an impressive thread decorated heel to the reverse surface.
