This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver tazza has a plain circular form onto a circular spreading pedestal foot.
The plain circular dish has a shallow central circular well, in addition to a narrow ct style border to the rim.
The pedestal foot of this impressive tazza has a planished silver finish and is encircled with an embossed band of interlacing Arts and Crafts style ornamenation to the upper portion.
This collectable tazza has been crafted within the Birmingham Guild of Handicraft Ltd*.
* An independent Arts and Crafts workshop created in 1890, under the leadership of the an established silversmith and architect, Arthur Stansfield Dixon. Items crafted within the Guild include furniture, fine books and metalware.
