This antique Victorian silver toast rack has four compartments divided by a pierced decorated scrolling frame in the form of the initials comprising the word 'TOAST'.
The two outer letters are further ornamented with flat engraved decoration enhancing the scrolling leaf designs, in addition to a trellis design to the upper portion.
The upper portion of the central letter/frame incorporates a scrolling carrying handle.
The plain hallmarked scrolling shaped base is supported by four ball style feet.
