An exceptional, fine and impressive antique English sterling silver and glass biscuit box in the Arts and Crafts style; an addition to our diverse silver box collection

This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver and glass biscuit box has a plain cylindrical form onto a circular swept foot.


The surface of this antique English silver biscuit box has a subtle planished finished.


The body of the vessel is embellished with pierced and embossed decorated fish designs.


This antique box is fitted with a plain hallmarked push fit circular domed cover, surmounted with an Arts and Crafts style wirework and ball finial.


The lower portion of the body is encompassed with an applied rope twist decorated border.


This exceptional example of Edwardian silverware is fitted with a clear glass liner.

This antique English silver biscuit box/barrel is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and part hallmarks to the rim of the cover are all clear.
