This antique sterling silver snuff box is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover ornamented with a fine applied, engraved decorated thumbpiece.

The engine turned decoration to the cover incorporates a vacant circular cartouche to the centre.

The interior of each compartment has impressive gilding.
