These fine and impressive vintage ruby earrings have been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with 18ct white gold fastenings.
The organic shaped earrings are each ornamented with a feature pear faceted cut ruby, collet claw set to the upper portion.
The rubies each surmount four individually claw set marquise cut diamonds, in a splayed formation.
The earrings, for pierced ears, secure to the reverse with an 18ct white gold post and hinged clip fastening.
The interior of the hinged latch is hallmarked with the 18ct gold fineness mark (750), the Italian town mark for Alessandria (star 2136, AL) and the French import gold mark (owl); the owl mark is used for finished articles brought into France to be examined by the French assay office.
The vintage ruby and diamond earring settings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold.
These impressive earrings are supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
