This fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.
The Victorian brooch has been crafted in the form of a branch with two large leaves protruding from either side.
The surface of each leaf is embellished with hot enamel decoration, graduating in colour from the interior vein to the serrated outer border.
The leaves are ornamented with a single line of pavé set Old Dutch cut diamonds which reflect the shape of each leaf's outer rim; one leaf has been embellished with 21 diamonds and the other 24, totalling 0.21ct.
The scrolling 18ct yellow gold branch has been further ornamented with three impressive natural pearls to the extending terminals.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening.
The stunning Victorian brooch is hallmarked to the reverse with the fineness mark for 18ct yellow gold (18).
This antique hot enamel brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold.
