This stunning, fine and impressive antique coral and pearl necklace has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold, with a later 18ct yellow gold chain.
The pierced decorated, crescent shaped design has been finely converted from a Victorian brooch for wear as a pendant.
The design is ornamented with three cluster arrangements, each composed of a central cabochon cut pink coral, surrounded by twelve pavé set Dutch cut diamonds.
Eight seed pearls embellish the design.
The 15ct yellow gold crescent pendant suspends from a later added 18ct yellow gold belcher style chain, securing to either side of the frame to the upper border.
The chain is hallmarked with the 18ct gold fineness mark (750), the maker's mark 'CC', the common control mark and the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (crown).
This pendant is un-hallmarked and therefore has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15ct gold.
The antique necklace is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
