This stunning, fine and impressive antique Edwardian amethyst necklace has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold.
The feature setting is ornamented with five floriated drop settings, each displaying a collet set emerald cut amethyst, totalling 4.47cts.
Each amethyst setting incorporates three protruding collet set pearls, in addition to a paired leaf design to upper portion embellished with two further pavé set seed pearls; either end of the necklace bears further paired leaf designs, reflecting that of the feature settings.
The amethyst drops alternate between six pierced decorated swagged settings, ornamented with a total of twenty-six collet set seed pearls.
The Edwardian necklace is embellished with a six bars ornamented with thirty-eight pavé set seed pearls, graduating in size.
These bar link designs alternate with seven individually collet set pearls, completing the design.
The necklace suspends from a 15ct yellow gold 16.7"/42.5cm fine belcher chain, securing to the reverse with a cylindrical push fit clasp.
The setting is hallmarked to the reverse with the 15ct gold mark (15CT).
