This exceptional antique American sterling silver teaware set consists of eight tea cups and eight saucers.
The tea cups have a circular bell shaped form onto a spreading foot, and the saucers have a circular rounded form onto a collet style base.
The surface of both the cup and saucer is embellished with an impressive interlacing band of foliate ornamentation, accented with a central quatrefoil floral motif to each lobe.
These components of Tiffany silverware are encircled with a tooled decorated border, in addition to applied moulded decoration.
Each cup is fitted with an impressive C scroll handle accented with a plain scrolling thumbpiece and scrolling lower terminal.
