Chinese Export Silver Box by Wang Hing - Antique Circa 1890

This fine antique Chinese Export Silver (CES) box has a cylindrical form.

The surface of the body is embellished with a fine and impressive embossed decorated iconic Chinese dragon design.

This antique Chinese silver box is fitted with the original push fit cover ornamented with a further dragon design encircling a central vacant circular cartouche.

This antique box retains the original gilded interior.

This Chinese box is a exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The embossed decoration is very sharp.

There are some natural fire marks to the surface of the box, in keeping with age.
