Continental Sterling Silver and Transfer Printed Box - Antique 1912

This antique continental sterling silver and transfer printed box has a cylindrical, rounded form.

The body of the box is encircled with inlaid gold and silver trailing foliage designs.

This antique silver box retains the original hallmarked push fit cover, embellished to the anterior domed surface with a transfer printed classical figure.

The sides of the cover are ornamented with further bands of inlaid silver decoration below a braid style border.

This fine antique silver box has a gilded interior.
