This exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V sterling silver biscuit box has a plain oval form.

The body of the antique silver biscuit box is plain and encompassed with an applied reed decorated border to the lower rim.

This antique box retains the original hallmarked hinged cover ornamented with further applied reed decoration to the rim.

The underside of the box bears the retailer's mark 'Boodle & Dunthorne, Lord St Liverpool'.
