This exceptional and rare antique Victorian sterling silver combination cream and milk jug has a circular rounded form onto a collet foot.
The segmented body of this silver cream jug is plain and unembellished with an applied moulded rim; this moulded rim continues across the lip of both spouts.
The upper portion of the silver jug features a silver plateau embellished with the elucidating engraving 'MILK' and 'CREAM'.
This fine example of Victorian silverware is fitted with two scrolling handles, conjoined with a plain pale across the upper plateau.
The interior of the jug retains the original gilding.
Such examples of versatile teaware are rare to the market.
