Sterling Silver Fruit / Bread Dish - Art Deco - Antique George V (1936)

This fine antique George V sterling silver fruit/bread dish has a plain rounded oblong form onto four ball feet.

The body of this antique silver dish is plain and unembellished, with a plain applied moulded border to the rim.

Either end of the dish is conjoined with a subtly flared concave panel to the length of the well.

This piece is fitted with impressive turned ivory handles in the Art Deco style.

This antique silver dish is an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in exceptional condition.

The dish has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

There is some crazing to the ivory handles as expected, in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks struck to the interior surface of the dish are very clear.
