The body of this fine silver box has a naturalistic textured form, replicating the seed's shell.
This antique sterling silver tea caddy retains the original hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted with the original finial replicating the details of a stem.
The box is further fitted with a swing handle bearing textured details and interlacing with the aforementioned finial; this impressive and individualistic mechanism indicates the high quality of the piece.
The box is supported by an interlocking frame of four silver branch strands, comprising eight feet.
