An exceptional, fine and impressive, unusual antique Victorian English sterling silver teapot; an addition to our silver teaware collection

This exceptional antique Victorian teapot, in sterling standard silver, has a circular shaped form.


The unusual spherical body of the teapot has a beaten finish.


The upper portion of the teapot is embellished with flared, curling shoulders.


This antique silver teapot is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover ornamented with a beaten finish and surmounted with the original and impressive cast silver organic finial.


The teapot is fitted with a fine and impressive C shaped handle with a stylised scrolling upper terminal; the lower terminal integrates into one of the three swept feet.


The exceptional cast sterling silver swan necked spout is plain with a bifurcating flared lip.


The interior of the teapot retains the original gilding.


This exceptional example of antique silverware was crafted by the collectable London silversmiths Jonathan Wilson Hukin & John Thomas Heath.

This Victorian teapot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

The beaten finish is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of Victorian silverware.
