Sterling Silver and Enamel Piano / Mantle Candlesticks - Art Deco - Antique George V (1929)

These exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V sterling silver piano/mantel candlesticks have a circular waisted form onto a circular base.

The circular capitals are each embellished with a band of yellow guilloche enamel to the fixed sconce.

The capitals are supported by plain waisted columns to a circular base ornamented with further Art Deco style yellow guilloche enamel, to a plain collet style rim.

Both of these impressive antique candlesticks have weighted bases and bear a baize lining to the underside.

These impressive and versatile Art Deco silver candlesticks could be used in a multitude of locations; often candlestick holders such as this will have been crafted for a ladies dressing table.

These antique enamel and silver candlestick holders are an excellent gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the collet rim of each base and part hallmarks to the capitals are all very clear.
