An exceptional, fine and impressive set of four antique George V English sterling silver Royal Artillery menu holders - boxed; an addition to our 1930s silverware collection

These exceptional George V cast sterling silver menu holders have a circular shaped frame onto a scalloped circular base.


The inverted scalloped frame of each cast holder is embellished with an engraved Royal Artillery* cap badge, incorporating the regimental motto 'Ubique' - Everywhere and surmounting 'The Royal Artillery'.


These antique 1930s menu holders are fitted with plain rounded supports to the posterior surface.


These impressive silver menu holders are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch.


* The Royal Regiment of Artillery (RA) is the artillery arm of the British Army.


Date: 1932

These antique 1930s menu holders are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.

The engraved decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of each base are all very clear.
