The panelled body of the teapot is embellished with an impressive flat engraved scrolling leaf bordered cartouche to each panel; four panels incorporate impressive bright cut engraved floral spray designs.
The cartouche to the anterior surface bears the contemporary engraved monogram initials 'MRB' and the posterior cartouche remains vacant.
The upper and lower portions of each panel are embellished with further flat engraved scrolling leaf decoration, incorporating a foliate motif to each edge.
The swept upper portion of the teapot features flared shoulders ornamented with an applied scroll and leaf decorated border.
